Our Hospital – Special Staff with Specialty Services

Havasu Regional Medical Center is a patient-centered community hospital with the resources and technology that serve as a regional healthcare provider for Western Arizona. HRMC is The Joint Commission-accredited and Medicare-certified with 181 licensed beds. We offer a broad and comprehensive scope of services including advanced cardiac care, such as open heart surgery in our Heart Centre, and the latest technology at our Cancer Treatment Centre. HRMC is one of the largest employers in Lake Havasu City with over 600 employees and over 100 physicians on our medical staff, representing expertise in 27 medical specialties.

With staff members who are part of the community we serve, we combine compassionate care with the latest in world-class medical technology. And our Havasu Surgery Centre was formed by a strategic alliance between the hospital and the physician staff, making our commitment to this community even stronger.

  • Concerned about being welcomed if you choose Havasu Regional? Don’t be! Our employees hail from Southern California, all parts of Arizona, Wisconsin, Iowa, New Mexico, Nevada, Wyoming, Hawaii, North Carolina, Kentucky, New England, Canada, and more places. You will fit right in!
  • Havasu Regional Medical Center is part of Lifepoint Hospitals, Inc. (NAS: LPNT), a corporation of approximately 50 community hospitals – with the specialty services we are adding, HRMC is becoming a flagship for the western part of the United States for our company.

We care for the community we love

One of the first things you will notice when meeting our administrators, physicians, and staff is that we truly enjoy being here. We have made the choice to live here in awesome Lake Havasu City and Western Arizona, and our hospital provides us with the technology and services that challenge us. There’s nothing better than knowing we live where we choose and our employer is committed to being a state-of-the-art facility – especially since we are entrusted by neighbors to provide acute care and specialty services. We are proud to be part of this team!

Meet Selected Department Directors:

Isn’t it so much better when you genuinely like the people you see and work with everyday?

"Part of the attraction of coming to Arizona from Connecticut is that I do not have to commute to work anymore. My house is 6 minutes away from work. After getting to know the doctors here, I have come to appreciate the small town feel and having all the doctors know the nurses names, not to mention, I don’t have to get used to a whole new team of interns every few months." - Brooke Whitworth

"Every day I take in beautiful lake and mountain views. The hospital facility is new and the technology current. I have the ability to truly live a balanced life between family and work. This is a priceless commodity and often very hard for professionals to find – but not here." - Paul Aiken

"I moved here because I was sick of Southern California - the smog, the crime, congestion, etc. My kids were getting ready to start school and I did not want them going to school there. I wanted a better quality of life for my family." - Julie Saseen

"Lake Havasu City is definitely a family-based community. There is significant support for the students and their activities. There are many sports from soccer, wrestling, softball, volleyball, swimming, tennis, basketball, baseball, and others for everyone from 5 years old to 75. Lake Havasu City has the ‘small town’ atmosphere but is advancing to providing ‘big city’ amenities." - Blondena Miley

"I had an offer from a hospital in Newport Beach. We chose Lake Havasu because it had a lot of what Newport had, plus less crime and traffic, cleaner air, and cost of living was a lot lower in Arizona. We also wanted to leave California, in pursue of a better life, in general." - Colleen Savage

"Since I’ve lived here some things I’ve noticed about Havasu: it’s clean, peaceful, it seems like there are always community events supporting local charities, and there is never a lack of anything to do. You can dress up and eat in a fancy restaurant or just kick back on your back porch and enjoy the entertainment of watching the sun set upon the water." - Ramona Saterlund

"I enjoy being able to get anywhere in town in 15 minutes. I can be at work in 5 minutes, while in Phoenix I often spent one to two hours per day commuting. I can now have a full day of work, yet spend more time with my family. And there are plenty of activities for children. During the summer, there are affordable summer camps as an option to daycare." - Chuck Kitchen

"This is a nice town to live in; close to big cities for break/culture/more shopping/excitement (Vegas, Los Angeles, Phoenix, etc.); good family town; safe; real estate is affordable; lake is a big attraction for boaters – power or otherwise; good hiking in area; good for people with asthma or arthritis since there is no damp weather or snow." - Diane Hindeman
