A Grand Life
Living in Our Area – The Unique Majesty of the Desert

Start the day boating under the London Bridge and into the Lake, then explore the desert with friends,
then end with another spectacular sunset. Life is grand!

Lake Havasu has always been the main attraction. With 450 miles of stunning world-class shoreline and exceptional water sports, Lake Havasu is a water lover's dream. Her year-round, crystal clear water draws us to her. Around this amazing reservior, which is regulated to be virtually always full year-round, we make lifelong memories with family and friends, and we have grown a community that is becoming one of the most desirable places to live in America.

With patience and a keen eye, our desert is abundant with life that will amaze you. You can explore the flora and fauna of the beautiful desert that surrounds the area, wildlife is amazing and plentiful and our region attracts bird watchers from around the globe. Joshua Tree National Park will touch your soul and is a camper’s must-do, and our Cattail Cove State Park rivals any in Arizona – with the coolest rangers to boot.

Here the well-to-do are drawn to aviation. Our open desert skies make for unreal private piloting; we’re a short flight to unbelievable places, like Sedona, the Grand Canyon, to snow skiing in 3 states. Great golf courses are abundant. Here “outdoors” means ATVs in the unchartered desert, riding Harley Davidson’s in the open roads, hiking, mountain biking, boating, hunting, fishing…the list goes on.

  • 350 days of sun per year – plan a great outing without worry the weather might mess it up!
  • Virtually no humidity nor bugs.
  • No catastrophic hurricanes, earthquakes, fires, mudslides, tornadoes, etc.

Allow us the pleasure of showing you how we live, because you’re invited to be our new neighbor!

Water:

Sail, pontoon, or powerboats dot Lake Havasu, along with plentiful volleyball courts on our beaches

Air:

Dante Marinelli of Havasu Air Center and its opulent pilot’s lounge – due to a myriad of positive factors
related to easy access for business travel and play, you will be tempted to take up flying!

Land:

Like the T-shirt at Walt’s Motor Sports says, with big-time Benjis one can have big time toys in Lake Havasu City –
ATVs and quads, dirt bikes, Harley Davidsons and other cruisers; lots of trails and open roads to explore!

More Friends who make Life Great in Havasu:

“We wanted to move out of the traffic and congestion of San Diego, and out of the ‘June Gloom’ which is pervasive along the coast. A smaller town on one of the most beautiful lakes in the country was very appealing. Lake Havasu came out on top!” - Jim Salscheider

“Living here has been, without any doubt, the best nine years of my life. The city is fresh and clean, having only been around since the late 1960s, and with a huge lake right in your front doorstep? I keep thinking, who wouldn’t want to live here?” - Gary Peaslee

“Many people here are like me and my husband. They visit and then end up moving here which tells you it is a wonderful place to live. This Online Job Tour will show jobseekers we are almost impossible to beat if you want a great hospital with specialty services along with a community that is emerging as a ‘new paradise’ in the United States.” - Kimberly Sambito

“This community is outrageous with their charity and volunteerism. I have never been in a community as giving as this one. For someone considering our community I would tell them this is the cornerstone of why you should choose Lake Havasu City – plus the weather is outstanding and that life is manageable and easy here.” - Bill Mulcahy
